Tis the Season .... time to get rolling on thos holiday photo cards!

Tis the season. The season for frenzy, fun, food, friends, and family. The time of year to connect and also take time to do a little disconnect too.

Thanksgiving hasn't yet passed, yet I am already eagerly anticipating the holiday season. There are presents to make and buy. Foods to cook and bake (and some gluten free recipes to discover given our family's recent need to go gluten free). We need to head to the woods and find our perfect tree.

Before I venture to far down my holiday to do list I need to order my Shutterfly cards. There was a time when photo cards were not something I did ... having kids changed that! I treasure the picture cards I get from family and friends, giving me fresh glimpses of their families that I may not have recently seen. I also love the calendars. The four sets of grandparents each get a calendar each year, filled with pictures of their grandchildren. It is the one gift I can feel confident about!

Today is the perfect day. The boys are out of school, the sun is brilliantly shining, AND .... we have have fresh snow on the ground. We will venture out to the river and try and capture the moment and share it with family and friends. Perhaps, afterward I can give a preview of what you may get in the mail!
